Effortless Ecom Review (Updated): Can Dontrell Lyons Teach You To Make Six Figures with E Commerce?

Effortless Ecom, created by Dontrell Lyons, is a comprehensive guide for creating a successful online business by building a Shopify store. The idea behind this e-commerce masterclass is to give entrepreneurs the tools and strategies to easily generate cash with market research and converting visitors into paying customers.

What is ecommerce?

Ecommerce (short for electronic commerce) is kinda like running a traditional business, but rather than selling products through a physical brick and mortar store, your store is either online with your own e commerce web site or mobile app, or you can sell products through other companies like Amazon which usually makes the whole shopping experience easier and much faster.

My #1 Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024

Actually Amazon, headed up by Jeff Bezos, single-handedly transformed the industry as we know it today. When Jeff first got started back in 1994, he was just selling books online but soon after started selling just about everything under the Sun.

The 1990s was a huge boom for online businesses with companies like Ebay and PayPal spearheading it. And with advancement of technology every 18 months, we’re expected to see about 24% of products normally bought in retail stores to be bought online by 2026 with a projected market share of over $8 Trillion.

So, should you jump on the bandwagon?

Well, that’s what we’re going to cover today in this Effortless Ecom review.

Over the next couple of minutes, I’d like to go into more detail about the business model, answer any other questions you may have about the industry, and help you decide for yourself whether it’s the right move for you and if this course is worth your time and money.

Lastly, I’d like to point you towards something that I believe might even be a better option than ecommerce.

Now, grab a snack, a cup of joe, and let’s get the ball rolling…

What Is Effortless Ecom?

Effortless Ecom is all about making the process as easy as possible, especially with Dontrell’s “3-Phase Rapid Implementation Masterclass” program. The 3 phases of this process are:

  • Product Selection
  • Store Design
  • Nailing down marketing on your ecommerce platform

First, Dontrell shows you which types of products you should focus on (the types of products that have been successful for him in the past), and which types of products you should avoid. He also give you some inside tips on specific products that do well in the European market.,

Next, He takes you by the hand and shows you how to build a unique Shopify store and pimp it out with your own branding.

Lastly, He shows you how to set up Facebook ads to target a specific audience for the products you’re promoting and turn those visitors into buying customers. Dontrell also gives you a TikTok guide to get more customers that way.

Dontrell has also struck an agreement with USADrop, which is a US-based warehouse, meaning that you don’t have to deal with foreign companies like Alibaba and AliExpress, which can be notorious for taking a long time to get you your products, and sometimes the products could end up being damaged.

Dontrell also encourages his members to work with each other and do bulk buying in order to get the best deals possible.

Pros

  • Monthly Recommendations: Dontrell gives you a list of trending products, which means you’re not stuck deciding what products to choose.

Cons

What Are People On The Internet Saying About Effortless Ecom?

Next, let’s see what some people on Reddit are saying about Effortless Ecom…

First a user by the name of fragrantpot starts off the thread by asking if the Done For You program for $499 is worth the money given that Dontrell and his team takes 30% off the top for their fee.

Timely_Champion_2034 replied saying that he spent $999 for the program and said that it was a good move and doesn’t consider it a scam. He said that he tried ecommerce on his own 4 years ago and couldn’t make it work. All in all, he gave Dontrell’s course a B.

Working-Meringue-884 had a different story altogether. He said that Dontrell didn’t fulfill his commitments, considers the program to be a scam, and is out $1000.

To this, Dontrell replied with an apology saying that the company was growing too fast and that the customer fell through the cracks. He goes on to talk about how business is tough, but would like to talk to the customer more about his experience with the program.

Are There Better Ways To Make Money Online In 2024?

If you’ve been on my site before, you’d probably see that I’m not a huge fan of the ecommerce business model.

For one thing, there’s so many moving pieces to keep up with while running a shopify business, meaning that it’s not a passive income business. And even if you are able to get the process automated, you still have to monitor the automation for any monkey wrenches that could be thrown into it. So, believe me, there’s very little that’s hands-off in “effortless e commerce”.

Secondly, dealing with product manufacturers can be a hassle, especially if they’re foreign, which Dontrell makes mention of since he does most of his business through USADrop.

I prefer a business model like Digital Leasing, mainly because you’re working with local businesses to help them get more clients and improve their bottom line. As you may know, the achilles heal of small businesses is their ability to get a paying client.

The best part is that this business model is virtually hands-off once you get your digital assets in place, which means passive income.
