Instead of focusing on the actual skills of a web design business though, he simply focuses on the marketing side of it all.

Not too bad if you ask me.
Frankly if you’re dead set on only learning how to scale a web design business, then Rob is probably your best guy.
But from a business model standpoint…I think you can do better.
You see with a web design business you are constantly chasing after the next build and the next build and the next build.
If you stop landing web build clients…you stop making money.
I think it’s better to have a business based off recurring payments.
And how do you do that?
Well SEO or Ads, like that are in his bonus content are two ways…but you still don’t have control.
What does give you control is lead generation from your website…because it is something you own 100%.
And it’s recurring because leads for roofing, tree service, or plumbing continue to flow in month to month as those jobs will always need done.
A small business doesn’t need a new website every month right?
