You’ve probably seen this guy come up on your Instagram or Facebook videos recently, maybe even your TikTok. At first glance, you probably wonder if it was Grant Cardone when he was younger, but to your surprise…it’s not. So who exactly is Brad Lea? What’s he selling? And how much will it all cost you? Find out below in my Closer School review.

Brad Lea might look and sound a lot like Grant Cardone for many reasons. One of which is that Brad has a similar story. Before becoming the big internet sales guy that he is today, Brad also spent 25 years in the auto sales industry before checking out this internet stuff. In 1999 he had the bright idea of selling his training to dealers nationwide and banking off that. This platform that he created was called “LightSpeed Virtual Training System”. Today that platform hosts a bunch of different gurus training courses such as Grant Cardone, Tony Robbins, and Daymond John.
So now let’s dive into what exactly is included with his Closer School program. Of course the first thing that you’ll be getting in this program is a solid foundation. Your mindset needs to be right. The first two modules of the training then focus on your preparation and introduction. To be honest…it does just feel like an elongation of the mindset training…but I digress. The next part is “gathering intel”. Basically in this module Brad says that “if you actively listen” the prospect will tell you everything you need to know to sell them.
While I think that may be a highly effective strategy…it seems a little dark to me. I mean ONLY listening to them so that you can sell them? What happened to just genuinely caring for what’s best for them? Program or not? Personally that’s where I think a lot of sales programs these days miss the mark. They get so caught up in using “actively listening” as the facade for what it really is…manipulation.

The next part of Brad’s training focuses on “building value”. Now this step I actually think is pretty important. It’s necessary to position your product or service as something that has actual value to the end consumer. Let’s use his training for dealerships for example…the goal they have is to get a customer out of their old car into their new one. How do you do it? For one thing, safety and technology. Newer cars are just better in that regard. If the prospect has a wife and a baby on the way, you might build the value of the new car in its safety features.
After that, Brad teaches you how to then ask for the sale and close it. Finally, he goes over indoctrination as well. Again, something I think is a little dark, but hey…everyone knows sales these days is slimey right? After all, if you put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig. Beyond that he gives you some “bonuses” like how to prospect, ask for referrals, and use social media to your advantage.
So how much does this all cost? As you could probably guess, you have to hop on a sales call with them to find out. In this sales call you might find them using these same exact techniques on you…so I’d be a little cautious and make sure that this is something you really want. Personally, I’d avoid it. I just don’t like high pressure manipulative tactics that all these gurus seem to use these days online in sales. Just doesn’t sit right with me. However, if you’re looking for a solution to all this…you might wanna check out what I think is best in the link below.
