“Learn how successful companies are growing online in 2023 – and the 5 most in-demand services they need right now” is the tag line that reads on his website. Of course you’re pushed to watch his free training. Let’s check it out. He starts off the video by introducing who he is and why you should listen to him. Next he breaks down right people like Andrew Tate and Iman Ghadzi are successful.

So what is the model that Maksim is trying to sell you? Essentially starting an online course or encouraging you to get started working in one of these businesses. Interesting, a guru telling you to go out and become a guru. I haven’t heard that one before. I guess I have to respect that to an extent right? He’s practicing what he’s preaching.

Maksim then breaks down how the funnel for these programs basically works. You first need to create a lot of short form content. He recommends using TikTok and refers back to the Andrew Tate example. The next thing you’ll do is create some sort of a free group that people can join and receive even more value from.

He says that if you can’t get into one of these businesses or start your own “guru business” that you could trying building your own social media marketing agency. The same content marketing strategy should work.

Maksim’s video was certainly edited very professionally and he had some good testimonials mixed into the video. I’m just not sure if this is the right business model to pursue. For one thing, you ad costs on the social media platforms will continue to rise and rise and rise, eventually pricing you out of the market. Not to mention social media marketing is just incredibly saturated these days and you’ll have to dance like a monkey just to land one client.

No word on how much Agency Academy costs. You’ll have to hop on a high-pressure sales call for that. My guess though would be that Agency Academy costs somewhere in the $2997-$6997 range given similar offers in the space. But like I said, I don’t think this business model is for me. In fact, I’d rather stick to something that doesn’t rely upon paid ads that will price me out of the market. Check out my solution below.

John Reed: As a fellow patriot who’s disillusioned with the 9-5 “American Dream”, I’ve grown to loathe the self-help and “guru” industry.
And here’s what pisses me off about the industry.
