Ok, so let’s dive into why this business model sounds good on paper, but in practice is really not that great…
First off you’ll have to promote “high ticket” offers as an affiliate. These are products that cost anywhere from $2,000-$25,000.
The issue with that is the only REAL products in that range are coaching programs…
Which means in just 7 seconds you’ll have to capture enough attention to basically make a sale on one of these programs.
The next issue with that is most gurus don’t really care about payouts. That’s right, you could go months without being paid and they could honestly care less because they’re off vacationing too much to really care.
Not to mention their affiliate agreements always protect them.
What’s even worse is that plenty of these programs and gurus have been known to make the payout to the wrong person…So good luck getting what you’re rightfully owed.
The next thing you’ve gotta worry about is building your audience. Sure, Wyatt Walker might be able to reach millions of people and get millions of views…but what about little old John Doe in the middle of nowhere?
Exactly.
It’s so hard to grow and audience these days and really isn’t for most people since 99+% lack that “it” factor.
Beyond that, let’s say you decide to do paid marketing for yourself…that’s whole bunch of other expenses that’ll stack up before you’re making any money.
