With all this craze around working from home it’s no wonder why you might be considering starting a gig as a remote setter.

After all, being on the phone just to get someone to show up to a call that’s not your responsibility to close can’t be that hard right?

But we’ll get to that later.

So you wanna be a setter huh?

Well lemme let you in on a little secret.

You’re kinda gonna get roped into the world of his pressure sales.

See your job is going to be to set up prospects to hop on sales calls with closers.

What type of sales calls you might ask?

Sales calls for other high ticket coaching program.

Yes…you are about to be sold onto a course about selling others into courses….

Crazy right?

Well Richard Yu thinks you can make a lot of money at it.

Potentially even 10k per month!

But I’ll warn you…the setter lifestyle isn’t as glamorous as it might appear.

Your days are going to consist of waking up early every morning, joining a sales calls, getting yelled at for not hitting your numbers the day before, and being on calls all day until it’s too late to call people…then you’ll wake up the next day and do it all over again.

You see these high ticket coaching programs you’ll work for as an appointment setter will normally work you like a dog.

Often setting KPI (key performance indicators) extremely high, making it difficult to achieve any “bonuses” they offer. That way they can advertise a high compensation structure…but it’s YOUR fault when you don’t hit the numbers.

In fact, most setters really only make 4-5k per month if we’re being honest.

And who can afford to work that many 12hr days, for that little pay, in this economy?

Not many.

Setter Certification Program Cost

Back to Richard’s training…so how good is it and how much does it cost?

Setter Certification Program cost’s $8800.

Yeah that’s pretty expensive…even if you’re a “certified appointment setter”.

Which doesn’t even really mean anything at the end of the day because it’s not like that certificate of achievement is recognized anywhere.

You’re basically just getting the same type of sales training you can get just about anywhere else.

Richard doesn’t exactly even have glowing reviews either.

Multiple students have expressed their dissatisfaction with some even filing complaints to the FTC.

Personally, I think the worst review is one that can be found on his own Skool community where a student expressed how they were duped…using their own religion against them through high pressure sales tactics.

I gotta admit…that’s pretty low.

I don’t think I’d wanna associate or learn from somebody who decides to deploy those kind of tactics.

So yeah.

The Setter Certification Program is going to be a pass from me.

Given it started not even a year ago, has so many bad reviews, and shady sales tactics…I just can’t recommend this at all in good conscience.

I won’t leave ya hanging though. If you want to make money online, with out all the hours and slimy tactics….you should check out digital leasing!
