Affiliate Marketing For Bloggers Review (Updated): Is Carly Campbell Legit?

Affiliate Marketing is a business model that has been around since the early days of the Internet, but some of you may be surprised to learn that shades of affiliate marketing even go back so far as the days of William Shakespeare. Of course, they didn’t have product sales tracking and commission payouts back then as we do now, but you can certainly see the seeds being planted.

Skip ahead a few hundred years and you can see how Affiliate Marketing starts to really catch on with PC Flowers, which was founded by William J. Tobin, in 1989. Since then, it seems like the entire business world has jumped onto the affiliate marketing bandwagon, and for good reasons, like:

  1. Low Startup Costs: Businesses typically don’t have to invest a lot of money in starting an affiliate program because they only pay affiliates after products are sold, which means they can build a customer base almost overnight.
  2. Performance Pay: Since businesses only pay when products are sold or when they get a lead, they’re able to save money on advertising which means more money can be invested back into the business.
  3. Tracking: Businesses are able to see which affiliates are bringing in the most money and how much each sale is worth, which means that the business can decide which partnerships work better than others.
  4. Branding: A good affiliate knows how to get the word out about a product to their audience through their blogs, social media, or email lists – which means customers are more informed and more willing to buy.
  5. Scalability: As businesses grow from affiliate marketing, they can work with more sales people, tap into new markets, and add new product lines which means more affiliate income without taking big risks.

So, this begs the question: How effective is affiliate marketing for the little guy – that is, how much money can you make as an affiliate marketing beginner?

That’s what we’re going to cover in this Affiliate Marketing For Bloggers Review.

In the next 5 minutes or so I want to go over some of the most important questions I get about these types of affiliate marketing courses so that you can see for yourself if this is the type of business model for you.

So let’s get started…

What Is Affiliate Marketing For Bloggers All About?

Affiliate Marketing For Bloggers is an affiliate marketing online course created by blogger Carly Campbell with the goal of teaching other people how to make money with their blogs. What’s great about this course is that Carly isn’t just teaching about it from behind a podium, but she’s actually getting out there and getting her fingernails dirty.

Basically, her affiliate marketing course teaches you how to:

  • Build an audience based on demographics and personality type
  • Find products that relate to that particular audience
  • Recommend products to your audience in hopes of making sales when you add affiliate links

Carly’s course is designed to be easy to understand so that even someone who’s brand new to affiliate marketing or even blogging for that matter, can jump in with both feet and start making money.

Not only that, the price of the course is pretty inexpensive so that even those on a shoe-string budget can get started.

Her approach to teaching is fairly simple.  She uses examples from her own blog and affiliate campaigns which means nothing academic and no out-of-date or abstract theories. Everything she teaches, she’s done herself.

Who Is Carly Campbell?

Who Is Carly Campbell

Carly is a work at home mom (WAHM) who took her love for blogging and learned how to make money from it. She got started doing this all the way back in 2016, during her first pregnancy, when she created a blog called “Mommy On Purpose”.

In this blog, Carly offers advice on how young moms can experience all the joys of motherhood while side-stepping all the challenges they face.

After the site started catching on, she decided to start recommending products that she uses to her readers so that she could start making money whenever they clicked on her affiliate link in her blog post and bought those products.

Doing this gave Carly the opportunity to work from home so she could spend more time with her baby.

Now, almost 8 years later, She’s got a ton of experience under her belt about affiliate marketing that she shares with affiliate marketers on her second blog called “Blogging Like You Mean It” which focuses on teaching other writers how to increase affiliate earnings from their blogs.

How Much Does Affiliate Marketing For Bloggers Cost?

Carly sells her course for $79, which is a lifetime membership.  However, there are no refunds.

What Do You Get With Carly’s Online Course?

Here’s a quick run-down of what you’ll get inside Carly’s course…

  • What is Affiliate Marketing: It’s a quick lesson on affiliate marketing basics.
  • Email Marketing Tips: Learn how to use emails to sell affiliate products with a story about Carly making over $5,000.
  • Blogging for Clicks: How to write blog posts that get people to click and buy.
  • Making Good Content: Advice on writing articles that makes people want to buy.
  • Tools You Can Use: Carly shares her favorite tools for selling things online. Buying them is up to you.
  • Facebook Group: Join Carly’s affiliate marketing Facebook group for extra help and to share stories with others.

Is Affiliate Marketing Worth It?

This is a great question, mainly because it’s really hard to answer given the different types of personalities that people have.

I mean, if you’re the type of person who likes to sit at your computer all day and write about different types of products for your readers to buy, then this would be a great course for you.

However, the affiliate marketing success rate is only about 10%.

So, if you’re looking for something that’s more with a better track record, where you can make money without being tied down to your desk all day, then you might want to take a pass on this.

That being said, at $79 it’s not a bad price to at least get a feel of affiliate marketing from the perspective of a young blogger mom who’s goal is to help you make sense of affiliate marketing.

Are There Better Ways To Make Money Online In 2024?

If you’ve had the chance to read any of my other articles that are similar to this affiliate marketing review, you’ve probably guessed that I’m not a huge fan of the business model.

For one thing, you really don’t have much control over certain aspects of the business like:

  • Quality Control
  • Commission Payouts
  • Discontinued Product Lines

The last position you want to be in is an affiliate marketer with low commissions on poor products that will likely not be sold anymore.

That’s why this business is not passive, meaning you’re able to make money whether you’re working or not.

And this is why I and many other people I know have found something that allows us to make $500-$2000 per month on each project that we work on.

And the beauty is that once we set the project up, it basically does all the work by itself.

It’s called Digital Leasing, and if you’d like to learn more, click the button below to see why it’s my #1 recommendation.

And here’s what pisses me off about the industry.
