Laptop Lifestyle Master Program Review (Updated): Is Marjet Van Wijk Legit?

It’s hard to be in good spirits when you look around and see things the way they are.

  • Prices skyrocketing
  • Falling stock market
  • High unemployment

In situations like this, many are looking for alternative ways at making money online from spreading your entrepreneurial wings, starting up own online business part-time, or changing careers altogether.

And maybe found this Laptop Lifestyle Master Program review while searching Google or maybe because a friend told you about it.

Marjet Van Wijk – businesswoman and lifestyle coach with an engaging teaching style – may or may not have the answer for you, but if you’re looking into her program, then let’s take a few minutes together to see if it’s really all it’s cracked up to be.

Marjet starts off talking about how she was just like you, but had an “Ah-ha” moment one day when she was at her daily 9-5 thinking that there must be more to life than running 8 hours on a hamster wheel and not getting anywhere.

She looks back a few years ago and thinking to herself about how she wanted to have the kind of life where she could go wherever she wants, do whatever she wants and not have to worry about money

Who doesn’t think about that, right?

Well, Marjet decided to throw caution to the wind and make it a reality by starting her own digital marketing company – and she’s glad she did.

At this point, she’s grabbed life by the horns. Her journey from being a famous influencer to leading Setters Media, her digital marketing agency, shows how she was able to take to the online world like a fish to water.

In her book, “What Influence”, along with her Laptop Lifestyle Masters Program, she goes on to talk about how she’s deeply committed to sharing her knowledge and experience with anyone who has the same dream.

Her support for the freelance lifestyle, especially zeroing in on doing quality work, is a sharp 180 from traditional 9-5 jobs. By focusing on the quality of output rather than just the hours put in, Marjet promotes a more flexible rewarding work style.

Her approach, “Think packages, not hourly rates,” is pretty much the nuts and bolts of her beliefs – focusing more on the importance of the value delivered over the hours spent.

In order for her students to nail down this process, she’s got a 3 month coaching program in LLMP with the goal of helping them reach a six-figure income.

Marjet says that you can do pretty much anything as a high-ticket freelancer like:

  • Social media marketing
  • Being a virtual assistant
  • Writing for blogs
  • Design graphics
  • Edit videos
  • Photography
  • Social media management

So what do you get when you purchase her program?

Marjet starts you off with a 1-on-1 coaching session where she helps you build the foundations for your new business.

You also get access to:

  • Q&A coaching calls three days per week
  • Training videos
  • Worksheets and homework assignments

And just in case you’re still worried about being left out on a limb, she’ll also give you access to Facebook Messenger support and will assign you an accountability partner.

Then, to top it all off, you’ll get access to her private community on Facebook and Discord so that you can network with the other students in her program, share your success stories, and gain digital marketing skills in addition to what Marjet teaches.

So how much does Marjet charge for all this?

Well, from what I was able to find out, the program costs $1,200 which includes a certificate and the opportunity to be part of her referral program. There is a $700 option, but I’m guessing it doesn’t come with all the bells and whistles that I mentioned earlier. With either option, it doesn’t look like she offers any refunds.

So what do I think of this program?

Well, honestly, I would have to say that it’s not a bad program if all you really want to do is be a freelancer.  The $1,200 price tag, however, might be a little steep for people on a shoestring budget.

Another thing that rubs me the wrong way is that you don’t get a refund if the program doesn’t work out for you.  That’s a big red flag for me!

I’m not saying any of this to disparage Marjet or dissuade you from purchasing her course, if learning these digital skills to provide online services is really what you want to do. I just want to make sure you go into this with your eyes wide open.

Do I think Laptop Lifestyle Master Program is a scam?

No, I don’t think so.  I mean, at least Marjet is upfront and open about the course and she does offer access to her student community, so I would imagine that if she has anything up her sleeve, their would be a ton of people that would give her a hard time about it.

The thing is, I just don’t think this is the best route to go, especially if you’re a beginner getting into digital marketing.
